Welcome to St. Stephen’s Orthodox Church.
We are honored you’ve taken the time to learn more about our parish. Whether you’re exploring the Orthodox Christian faith for the first time, returning after some time away, or looking for a spiritual home grounded in timeless truth—you are most welcome here.
St. Stephen’s is a traditional Orthodox parish, joyfully rooted in the authority of Holy Scripture and the great Orthodox tradition of the Church. We seek to follow Jesus Christ, proclaim His Gospel, and worship Him in the beauty of holiness.
Each Sunday, we gather to pray the Divine Liturgy of St. Tikhon, a corrected form of the Anglican Missal for Orthodox use—hearing God’s Word, confessing our sins, receiving absolution, and coming to the altar to partake in the Mystery of the Holy Eucharist.
In a world of spiritual confusion and rapid change, we are committed to what is eternal: the truth of God’s Word, the grace of the Sacraments, and the fellowship of Christ’s Body.
You may find some of our practices unfamiliar at first. Our services are shaped by reverent worship, rich in Scripture, steeped in the prayers of the saints, and oriented entirely toward the glory of God. If you're new to traditional Orthodox liturgy, you won’t be alone—we’re here to help.
St. Stephen’s is a parish family—a community of sinners redeemed by grace, growing in holiness, and learning to love one another in the power of the Holy Spirit. Our namesake, St. Stephen the Martyr, reminds us that the Christian life is one of witness, courage, and faithfulness.
Whether you are here for a season or a lifetime, we would be delighted to walk with you in the life of faith. Come and join us as we worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, uphold the faith once delivered to the saints, and find our rest in Jesus Christ.
Welcome to St. Stephen’s.
Welcome home!
Our Spiritual Foundation
At the heart of St. Stephen’s Orthodox Church lies a deep commitment to the spiritual foundations of the Orthodox tradition—rooted in the sacramental life, apostolic order, and the beauty of holiness. Here, the faithful are called into deeper communion with Christ through the reverent celebration of the Holy Eucharist, the daily rhythm of prayer rooted in the Orthodox Book of Common Prayer (Lancelot Andrewes edition), and the upholding of Orthodox doctrine as received within the English patrimony prior to the Great Schism. St. Stephen’s seeks to be a beacon of the Incarnate Lord’s presence, drawing souls into the mystery of grace through Word and Sacrament, and standing as a living testimony to the Church’s ancient faith in the modern world.
